Steve Nelson is a financial advisor and investment representative for Prime Capital Investment Advisors (PCIA). He is also a registered representative with Private Client Services, Member FINRA/SIPC.

Steve assists clients in areas involving business and retirement planning solutions. He specializes in qualified retirement plans, risk management services and fee-based asset management. This diversity in financial services allows Steve to provide many solutions for his clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Steve was a team member of Aquila Energy in the asset management and commodity area. In joining the financial services industry, Steve brings over 10 years of combined experience in finance, accounting and commodity trading including six years of accounting experience in both public and private sectors.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska in 1992. He has furthered his education by earning his FINRA Series 7, 6, 22, 63 and 65 registrations. In addition, he is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).

Steve and his wife, Kim, reside in Bonner Springs, Kansas. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, including sons Sam, Cole, Rob and daughter Gwen. He also enjoys fishing and golfing.
