Joey Zdeb is a Financial Advisor and Investment Advisor Representative for Prime Capital Investment Advisors’ retirement plan advisory service, Qualified Plan Advisors (QPA).

A proud Gorilla alumnus, Joey attended Pittsburg State University. He played five years of college football, winning the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2011. He received his bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State, graduating with honors in 2013. Joey then went on to be the student-president of the Pittsburg State Graduate School and advisory committee. He acquired his master’s degree in 2015, and currently holds his Series 65 license.

Following graduate school, Joey trained for one year in Quantico, VA to become an officer in the United States Marine Corps where he graduated at the top of his class. In 2018, as an infantry officer and tactical advisor, Lieutenant Joey Zdeb led his platoon of 42 Marines in combat while deployed in Afghanistan in. One of his most prized accomplishments is getting everyone safely home. Today, he  is still in command of the mortars platoon with the Marine Corps Reserves unit located in Springfield, MO.

Outside of Qualified Plan Advisors, Joey is heavily engaged in public and voluntary service, including his accomplishments as an Eagle Scout. Having previously coached football at his alma mater and leading the physical training of the Kansas City Marine Corps recruiting office, he enjoys helping others live a healthy, active life. He is extremely loyal to his church, family and Marines. Joey continues to reside in Shawnee, KS as a proud Shawnee native. He enjoys hunting, fishing, concerts and attending any kind of sports event around.
