Emily serves as a retirement consultant on the Houston Qualified Plan Advisors team where she provides support for the managing consultants, assists on special projects, and delivers ongoing retirement consulting. Emily’s areas of focus include conducting requests for proposals, providing merger and acquisition support, creating quarterly investment reviews, and preparing government filings.

Prior to joining the team, Emily worked at VALIC as a financial advisor. Her main role in this position was to assist individuals with financial planning to help them reach their retirement goals.

Emily graduated with honors from Texas State University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing. Emily is a licensed life/health representative and has obtained the Series 6 and 63 certifications.

Outside of the office, Emily enjoys going to Astros, Texans, and Rockets games, relaxing by the pool, working out, and playing with her dog, Piper.
