Since becoming a financial professional in 1996, Dr. Richard Baker has used his diverse background and expertise to serve as a Financial Advisor. As an advisor with Qualified Plan Advisors, Dr. Baker specializes in retirement plan design and implementation, including comprehensive fiduciary services. He helps businesses evaluate group retirement plan options and develop strategic plans to meet their participants’ retirement goals. His goal is to provide retirement plan solutions so employees can retire on time and with dignity.

Dr. Baker’s business acumen has also bolstered his career as an author and speaker. In 2015, he published the book Biblical Retirement, and frequently speaks, from a Biblical worldview, on financial topics, such as effectively communicating to employees the benefits offered to them by their employer.

Dr. Baker holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations and is an ordained minister and member of Second Baptist, Springfield, MO. He earned a Doctor of Ministry and a Master’s of Divinity degree from MBTS, Kansas City, MO and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology from College of the Ozarks in Pt. Lookout, MO.

Dr. Baker was instrumental in establishing The Bridge Nixa, Springfield Dream Center and Alongside Education Ministries. He is a member of National Religious Broadcasters and also serves on the President’s Council for CofO. Dr. Baker was previously a board member of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Alongside Education Ministries, and was formerly appointed by the North American Mission Board. Dr. Baker enjoys being involved in international mission trips.
